welp. i couldn't decide on what i wanted my goal pace to be for the race so i figured right around 7 flat would be good... push me a lil but not anything too crazy. next time i'm going for crazy smh. turns out i totally could have gone faster in the race but i was like "eh i'm right on pace" and by the time i actually felt like speeding up it was kinda too late. note to self: don't set easy goals. they're worthless. on a happier note i very much enjoyed jumping over the hay bales, it was more than a 40 second PR on my two mile from tuesday (like 2 minutes from last year) && my grandpa told me he did cross country "back in the day." what a champ.
