FOOTLOCKER!! started off fast for the loops, slowed down a little on the hills (just to enjoy them longer) haha, and maintained for the last mile. :) (still trying not to think about the fact that this was my last high school xc race.... ahhh)

ran the course! little crazy since the SA track is under construction- and by that i mean it's completely gone and is actually just dirt currently. haha. good to get the legs going though and to remember the hills- yikes!

went hiking in a wash... so it was pretty sandy lol. ran back a little ways and did some miles at the start of the trail. ended up with 5.5ish total but probably only 3.5 running?

WOW I LOVE XC!!! everything just sorta "clicked" and i gave it all i had. started out fast which got me a little worried i was going to die hard on the 3rd mile but i decided that i wasn't going to- so i didn't! held onto mario and sidney from westlake for most of the race and overall was just so happy to be there. :) i wish i had a little more left for my kick but you do what you gotta do!
