Believe to Achieve

low mileage recovery today so that was great. i was going to go a lil longer but decided against it once i got started ha my calves hate me rn... headed up towards the pit and did some dirt miles which got my shoes a nice layer of dirt then headed back after not too long. s/o to mario cause i love her & running w/ her was the greatest.

went & hiked timp with some quality humans ❤ s/o to the moose that followed us on the trail & got me to run a few lil feet... what a day.

woke up SO tight but once i got started running i felt much better. 1st mile was way too fast for recovery (or for easy pace actually) so decided to just stay at easy pace for the rest of the run haha... felt good to be running cause i'll be sitting in a plane for the rest of the day yayyyy 😂 s/o to kaylie for waving at me she's the cutest & also good luck to all y'all camp people!

woke up to some THICK fog in nauvoo haha headed out on a run nice & early though. went adventuring with michaela s/o to her for running with me she's great. we went all the way down to the mississippi (which is not good ice bath water lolz) then had to head back early bc of sightseeing...

tried to wake up earlier to get some more mileage in but that didn't turn out too well haha #runningbuddies maybe tm i'll do full mileage? on the bright side we were flying without even trying #poet? haha we ran down by the temple & such which was beautiful plus it was way less humid cause it rained last night thank goodness! huge s/o to dalpal & justin bc magically i saw them on my run a thousand miles away from home. 😂

stellar run this morning. ended up around an 8flat for all 7 miles so that was super great- i probably shouldve gone faster looking back on it but the view was spectacular soooo might as well stay out as long as possible... ;) idk if i will ever be satisfied to run in utah again though cause these iowa trails are the BEST. ❤ as soon as i got back though we went on an "authentic" trek which made my calves quite sore...
