| | 70 min saturday with carolyn! we were planning on doing the high bench and river trail loop at lamberts park buut there was a race going on up there so we ended up just going around on the main roads and down on ruin. good times. abs & hips

| | XC CAMP!!!!!! went up to jeremy ranch for an out & back trail run. perfect weather, gorgeous views. solid time with rachel. got a bit tired around mile 5 but stayed consistent so i was happy about that. 8:20 ap. lunch & games afterwards :)

| | traditional corner canyon trail run for the last day of camp!!! super slow 1st and last 2 miles (like 10:30 pace lol) but the in between miles were great! (around a 8:20 average) super great time with some freshmen boys haha gotta love the energy. s/o to rachel for saving me when i almost died tripping on a rock... haha. abs & hips | Add Comment |
| | recovery never felt so good. started out SLOW but negative split each mile to end with a 7:57. around mile 3 i thought my leg was making a weird cracking sound but it was actually just my shoe (phewph) unfortunately my leg/high ankle felt low key broken all day so that's not too good. iced and kneaded it out. could be ankle stability stuff? abs & hips

| | leg felt low key broken today. :( my high ankle was burning and shot pain with every step i took. what??? anyways iced a lot and took the day off & went mountain biking instead. climbed for a solid hour then went a little crazy on the way down.

Highland Invitational (2.9 Miles) 00:20:45 | | 1st race of senior year!!! super nervous but also super excited to run. mentally in the race but got a little too comfortable, too early, and settled in with a group i shouldn't have around mile 2. picked it up a little bit for the last .9 but still not totally the time i was hoping for. living and learning. super proud of everyone who raced!!!

Grass Relays (2.1 Miles) 00:13:57 | | grass relays!! 1st mile i stayed with a girl from riverton then 2nd mile fell off a little bit... looking back i could have stayed with her but i just gotta apply it to the moment.

| | awesome week day 1!!! my group did 5 600m birm run, 100m jog, 200m sprint. it was HOT as anything and i fell off my pace a little bit on #4 and #5 but i gave it my full effort so i was happy with it!

Preregion- Scera Park (2.8 Miles) 00:19:49 | | went out and felt really good 1st mile then psyched myself out for the 2nd mile worrying that i was going to die later.. smh. on the bright side the course was nice and flat and went by fast!
